Introduction Print version

srael is many things; a place, a way of life, a belief, a religion, a heritage, a dream, hope, survival, a pioneering spirit, scenery, man, history, war and peace, agriculture, fauna and flora, coexistence. In short, an experience.

Israel may be a tiny country, but the more you visit it, the more you delve into its profound secrets and remarkable depths. Israel abounds with fascinating landscapes, rare historical sites, diverse human encounters with different heritages, wars and fragile coexistence, a pioneering spirit, hopes, dreams and fulfillment.

Israel offers a wide range of landscapes: From the snow in the well-watered Hermon Mountain through the Land of the Jordan and Hermons, to the dramatic, arid scenery of the Judean Desert and the Negev.

It is a land strewn with historical sites, which to this very day are still being discovered, and its archaeological treasures continue to grow. Thus, every other day we learn of new discoveries which shed light on the rich history of a country still in the stages of rebuilding – sometimes prickly and other times majestic - but one whose face is constantly changing.
