A week before Easter, on Palm Sunday, many pilgrims crowd the Church of the Tomb to commemorate the arrival of Jesus in the holy city for Passover and to say ‘Hosanna...’ In the past, pilgrims would take back home with them branches of palm as testimony to their visit to the Holy Land.
